San Mateo County Nav Center

The County of San Mateo Navigation Center in Redwood City, California is a 240 unit modular housing project that provides living spaces for unsheltered people, along with on-site support services. This is one of the largest modular projects ever undertaken in the US for housing people experiencing homelessness. Stuart Emmons was the modular consulting Architect for the project at Silver Creek Modular in Perris, California, and focused on accessibility, constructibility, detailing and coordination to help streamline the modular construction process.

The design architect for the project was the office of Charles P. Bloszies, FAIA. General Contractor was XL Construction.
